The Maker Faire is proud to bring its Makers to the BAFB Air Show! There is no cost for exploring the STEM Zone and speaking, interacting, and learning from our amazing Makers! With 200,000 visitors anticipated at the weekend-long event, there should be at least 10,000 visitors at the Hangar Full of STEM if not more. Plus, you can go outside the Hangar to watch the amazing Air Show too!
The STEM Zone is located in Hangar 1 on both days of the Air Show. If you are a Maker who wishes to sell things, please note that this is not allowed at the Air Force Base. However, you are welcome to show your business cards and contact the organizers for more information.
Makers, Please note: Load in is ahead of time and once you are there, you must host your booth for both days. More details to come from our partners at the Air Show regarding load-ins and load-outs.
Admission to the Shreveport-Bossier Maker Faire is free with General Admission to Sci-Port Discovery Center. Add-on activities (e.g., soldering workshops, or custom creations) can be purchased separately from vendors.
You can buy admission now from the Sci-Port website here: Online Purchasing – Sci-Port Discovery Center
If you want to apply for a booth or space at our Maker Faire for your organization, business, or as an individual and would like to show off your work, please fill out the Call for Makers Application. If you are interested in a larger booth size, extra signage, or prominent inclusion in promotional materials then please email Shreveportmakerfaire@gmail.com for rates and accommodations.
