We are excited to host the fifth Shreveport-Bossier Maker Faire at at two locations, two date, two weeks apart in the spring of 2025!
We would love for you to be a part of the “Greatest Show and Tell on Earth” during this fun, family-friendly event. We are looking for all types of makers — crafters, coders, hobbyists, builders, and tinkerers. If you would like to have a booth at the event, please fill out the Call for Makers!
Event 1) The Barksdale Airshow Hangar Full of STE(A)M, with a special Maker Faire component highlighted with banners. Dates: Friday, March 28 (optional: for 600 8th grade students from Caddo & Bossier); Saturday & Sunday March 29 & 30 (full event), 2025 – we expect 10,000 visitors to the Hangar Full of STEAM, and there will be 200,000 visitors at the Airshow. The Friday event would be optional for the Makers but really cool for some.
Event 2) The second event be held Friday, April 11th and Saturday April 12th, 2025. The location will be at Sci-Port Discovery Center, 820 Clyde Fant Parkway, Shreveport, LA, 71101. School groups will come on Friday and is a great way to train our next generation of Makers!
